Cookie policy

This page lists every cookie this site can set, in plain language. There are two kinds: essential cookies that make the store work, which are always on, and optional ones that run by default and can be switched off right here, for this browser, with one click:

Essential, always on

• Signing in. Our sign-in provider, Clerk, sets session cookies so the site knows which account is yours between pages. Without them, no dashboard, no portal, no purchases.
• Your choice itself. If you switch the optional cookies off above, one small cookie remembers that answer for a year, so it holds on every page.
• House keys. A cookie that remembers the pre-launch passcode during the preview period, and one that signs our own staff into the admin console. Neither says anything about you.

Optional, on unless you turn them off

• Analytics (PostHog). Counts pageviews and player events and records anonymized sessions so we can see what people struggle with; whatever you type is masked and never recorded. If you are signed in, events are tied to your account so support can help you with what you actually saw.
• Referrals (Affonso).When you arrive through an artist's or a partner's link, a cookie remembers who sent you for 60 days so they get credited if you subscribe. Decline it and the store works identically; the referrer simply is not credited.

What we never set

No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no selling of anything to anyone. The optional cookies above serve this store and the artists in it, nobody else.

Changing your mind

The switch at the top of this page works both ways, as many times as you like, and remembers per browser. If anything is unclear, write to info@agsoundtrax.com and we will help. The privacy policy covers what happens to data once collected.
