Terms of use

These terms cover using the AGsoundtrax site and licensing the music in it. The store is run by AGsoundtrax, LLC. Using the site means accepting these terms; licensing a track means accepting the license terms shown at purchase as well.

What the store is

AGsoundtrax is a curated catalogue of production music, written by named human composers. You can browse, audition, and license tracks for use in your own productions: film, television, advertising, online video, games and similar work.

What a license grants

A license is granted per project, not per edit. Once a project is licensed, the track may be used in that project's cuts, trailers and versions as the license terms at purchase describe. Every purchase comes with a license certificate that names the track, the project and the scope.

What is never granted

• Reselling, sublicensing or redistributing the music itself, alone or in a library, kit or template.
• Claiming authorship of the music, or registering it with a content identification system such as YouTube Content ID.
• Using the music, in whole or in part, to train, tune or seed any machine learning or generative model. This catalogue is written by people and stays that way.
• Publishing watermarked demo downloads. Demos exist so you can try a track in your edit before buying, and for nothing else.

Ownership

The composers and AGsoundtrax retain every right not expressly granted by a license. Licensing a track does not transfer copyright.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you buy, and there are no recurring charges unless a subscription is clearly offered and clearly accepted.

If something goes wrong

The site is provided as it is, and we work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will never be down or never contain a mistake. If a mistake is ours, we fix it. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us for the license in question. Billing errors are always resolved in your favour; see the refund policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, where AGsoundtrax, LLC is registered.
