Breathwalk Music

Operating out of an unnamed room in East London, Breathwalk exists less as a fixed identity and more as a sonic weather pattern. The project emerged from a collection of unlabelled reel-to-reel tapes, late-night field recordings, and heavily processed acoustic instruments, capturing the stillness that settles over the city in the quiet hours between midnight and dawn.

At the core of Breathwalk’s sound is a preoccupation with memory, decay, and space. Blending bowed cello, analog synths, granular sound manipulation, and micro-textures, the compositions carry an unmistakable sense of hauntology—reminiscent of forgotten footage, empty concrete corridors, and rain-slicked pavement.

Unhurried and deeply atmospheric, Breathwalk’s music is meticulously designed to sit under dialogue or elevate visual narrative without overpowering it. It offers film and media creators an understated emotional weight, framing tension, grief, and quiet revelation with subtle, breathtaking precision.
